The theatre accommodates 275 people in the auditorium and 80 people in the lounge. |

| CURRENT PRODUCTIONS: |
General Information: Showstopper students are trained in singing, dancing, showmanship and performing. All students perform in Showstopper productions at The Josephine Theatre approximately three times a year and will occasionally be given the opportunity to audition for or participate in Josephine Theatre main-stage productions as well. The classes at this academy are not structured like a normal dance studio or choral group. They move at a very fast pace and a level of difficulty that demands a good attention span. The program is designed as a “crash course” in musical theatre and may not be suitable for all children. The program focuses not only on teaching students to sing and dance, but also concentrates on moral values such as self confidence, teamwork, and getting along well with others. Students will sometimes be given opportunities to try out for solo parts, speaking parts, featured dance parts, etc. to highlight their individual talents, but the largest portion of every production will be based on performances by the entire group. Class Schedule: Students Ages 6 to 18 Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 to 6:30 Tuition: $100 per month |

| The Josephine Theatre proudly presents The Showstoppers in a spectacular musical revue of the Swing era. Hits include Steppin’ Out With My Baby, Blue Skies, Jump Jive An’ Wail, and many more. This show features some of San Antonio’s most talented young people and brings a swingin’ good time to audiences of all ages. Performances are Saturdays at 2:30 April 12th and 19th and Sundays at 6:30 April 13th, 20th, and 27th. Tickets are $10 for Adults and $8 for children 12 & under. Seating is general admission and tickets go on sale one hour before show time.
Final performances Saturday May 3rd at 2:30 and Sunday May 4th at 6:30 |
